First proper meal out since the baby arrived, so the bar was high. Nothing on the table beat the The Burger, though the rest of it tried. It has quietly become the reason I suggest meeting in Los Angeles.

The kind of place you assume is a tourist trap until you look at who is eating there. The Half Chicken arrived and the conversation stopped for a minute. Someone in that kitchen is paying attention.

Arrived early and watched the room fill up with people who clearly knew the staff. Take the Brisket Plate, even if you are fairly sure you do not want it. Only gripe is the wait for a table on a Friday, and I knew that going in.
