There is one table. It seats twenty-six. You will sit next to someone you have not met, and by the second bottle that will stop being strange.

Anniversary dinner, and I had spent far too long choosing where. I have had Fettunta in a lot of places and this is the one I will measure the rest against. I have worked in Siena for years and never knew it was here.

A friend visiting from abroad asked for somewhere local rather than famous. The Salumi del Poggio was seasoned properly, which sounds like faint praise until you eat out often. The sort of place you hope stays exactly as it is.

Went twice in one week, once for work and once because I wanted to. Whatever they do to the Pici all'Aglione, they should keep doing it. It is not a big menu. That is deliberate, but go knowing it.
