Booked for two, ended up as four, and they did not blink. The Lamb Meshwi is the sort of thing you order to share and then do not share. Half of Sana'A seems to know about it already, which explains the queue.

Went on a wet Monday expecting it to be half empty. It was not. Whoever is making the Hummus back there deserves a compliment I could not deliver in person. No fuss, no theatre, just a very good dinner.

A colleague recommended it three times before I finally listened. The Moutabal was better than the version I ate in the country it comes from. It is not a big menu. That is deliberate, but go knowing it.
