We were seated beside the kitchen, which I would ask for again. The Chicken Tikka was better than the version I ate in the country it comes from. Service was attentive without hovering, which is a harder trick than it looks.

Anniversary dinner, and I had spent far too long choosing where. Three of us ordered the Seekh Kebab after watching it go past to another table. It is the address I now give anyone asking where to eat in Kolkata.

A friend visiting from abroad asked for somewhere local rather than famous. The Paneer Tikka did not last long enough to be photographed. Worth every cent, and I do not say that often.
