Everything cold is made in the morning, everything hot when you order it, and the bread does not stop coming.
Sat at the counter alone with a book and nobody once made me feel rushed. The Kibbeh was the best thing on a table where nothing was bad. If you are anywhere near Abu Dhabi, go out of your way for it.

Came for a quick lunch and was still there nearly two hours later. I did not expect much from the Falafel and was quietly put in my place. The bill was fair and nobody tried to sell us anything.

Eight of us for a birthday, which most kitchens handle badly. Not this one. The Shish Taouk is generous without being the sort of portion that defeats you. The tables are close together, which some people will mind more than I did.
