We were early for a concert and needed somewhere near the hall. Even my daughter, who eats almost nothing, cleared the Garlic Naan. The music was a shade loud for us, though nobody else seemed to mind.

Two of us on a Wednesday, no booking, seated straight away. The Pilau Rice had none of the heaviness this kind of cooking usually carries. It is now the place I take people I want to impress without saying so.

I do not usually eat this sort of food and came along under mild protest. They talked me out of what I was going to order and into the Chicken Tikka. Good call. It has quietly become the reason I suggest meeting in Goa.
