Booked on a recommendation from someone whose taste I trust completely. I have had Hummus in a lot of places and this is the one I will measure the rest against. People in Damascus Old City keep this one quiet and I understand why.

An ordinary Thursday with nothing to celebrate, and it still felt like something. The Moutabal was seasoned properly, which sounds like faint praise until you eat out often. I cannot fault a thing about the evening.

Booked a week ahead and still only got the early sitting, which tells you enough. Whatever they do to the Tabbouleh, they should keep doing it. I wish they took bookings for two - that is my only complaint.
