Came back with my parents after eating here on my own the week before. Started with the The Burger and it set the standard for everything after. Bring cash for the tip; the card machine will not take one.

The kind of dinner that makes you cancel whatever you had planned after it. The Half Chicken was the best thing on a table where nothing was bad. Nothing about it is trying to be photographed, which I appreciated.

We were seated beside the kitchen, which I would ask for again. I did not expect much from the Brisket Plate and was quietly put in my place. If I still lived in Austin I would be there weekly.
